Invest in a Legacy

Hand engraving is the final touch that transforms a fine object into a generational heirloom. To begin the commission process, please describe the piece you wish to have engraved or created and the level of coverage you desire. We will review your request and schedule a consultation to discuss motifs, layout, and historical styling.

How to Send Your Commission:

1. Consultation First: Please do not ship any items until your design and deposit are confirmed.

2. Packing for Protection: Use a “box-within-a-box” method. Wrap the item in non-abrasive padding (like a soft cloth) before placing it in the inner box.

3. Discreet Labelling: For security, do not write “Fine Hand Engraving” on the outside of the box. Use my abbreviated business name: “ABHamilton”.

4. Tracking: Always use a service that requires a Signature upon delivery.

5. Incoming: Clients are responsible for insuring their items during transit to my studio. I recommend [Registered Mail via USPS or FedEx Declared Value].

6. Return Shipping: All completed commissions are returned via fully insured, signature-required overnight shipping. (My studio being in Alaska, may take an extra day, if shipped to the lower 48 states.)

7. Firearms Engraving: I do not hold a Federal Firearms License (FFL). I can only legally engrave on parts of the firearm that don’t have the serial number or the action.
